Lakeside College was established in 2006 when Delfin-Lend Lease developed the Lakeside precinct. The developers partnered with our Lutheran Education system to provide a quality independent education option for the growing Pakenham population. The first Lutheran school in this area began in 1836 when German settlers in Harkaway opened a church and school in Hessel Road. Lakeside College joins the other 86 schools and colleges across Australia as part of Lutheran Education Australia, serving approximately 40 000 students.
Lakeside College has as its focus quality education where the whole person can grow and develop with confidence and dignity. We build individuals who are confident, aware, career and life ready. A significant aspect of the education program is the underlying “Christ centred” approach to life and learning.
The College curriculum offers extensive programs to students giving them the opportunity for spiritual and personal growth, service and social involvement, and individual excellence in the range of learning areas, to prepare them with confidence for their individual vocations and Christian life.
Tours of the College are available upon request and we would love the opportunity to show you our wonderful school. For further information please contact the College.
