College Chapel Worship
As a Christian school, Lakeside College offers a program of chapel worship and classroom devotions, to help students learn and grow in their understanding of God’s love for them through Jesus.
Junior Chapel worship happens regularly on each Wednesday and Friday of term, from 8:45-9:05am, led by Pastor Nathan Hedt and Chaplain Kathy Mildred.
Senior Chapel worship happens regularly on each Tuesday and Thursday of term, from 8:45-9:05am, led by Pastor Nathan Hedt and Chaplain Kathy Mildred.
Parents and Carers are always welcome to stay on chapel mornings and observe or participate in chapel worship.
Pakenham Lakeside Church
Lakeside College also partners with Pakenham Lakeside Church (the local Lutheran congregation) to offer Sunday worship services at Lakeside College Senior building at 4:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, as well as special services at Easter and Christmas.
Pakenham Lakeside Church is a vibrant, growing church with a high proportion of young families and children. The Sunday service includes an intentional ministry to children, called Kids4Christ (aka Sunday School) – with exciting and engaging activities for kids in the preschool to primary school range. All parents and families of Lakeside College are warmly invited and welcome to attend this worship service on Sundays, with Kids4Christ children’s ministry.
Pakenham Lakeside Church provides authentic Christian community. We intentionally share time together, and extend love in practical ways to people both inside and outside our church. We’re on a journey of inviting people to encounter Jesus, and walk with him in daily life. Students and their families who want to get to know more about Jesus, reconnect with the Christian faith, or who are seeking baptism or pastoral care, are welcome to contact me via the email below.
You can find out more about the church, including listening to sermons on MP3, at our website: www.pakenhamlakesidechurch.org.au .
God bless you!
